The RTI request was filed on 06.02.08.        The Appellant requested for<br \/>\n     information details of Review DPC which was conducted to withdraw<br \/>\n     his ACP. Vide no. VCRC\/ESt.\/ACP 2006-07\/415 dated 26.10.2006. The<br \/>\n     PIO replied on 29.02.08 stating that the information cannot be<br \/>\n     provided since it is exempted from disclosure under Section 8(1)(e) of<br \/>\n     the RTI Act since it does not in larger public interest. The Appellant<br \/>\n     filed his first appeal on 17.03.08 stating that the CPIO had willfully<br \/>\n     denied the information. He stated that he sought the information for<br \/>\n     redressal   of   his   grievance   and   reiterated   his   request   for   the<br \/>\n     information.     On not receiving any information from the Appellate<br \/>\n     Authority the Appellant filed his Second Appeal before the            CIC on<br \/>\n     06.05.08.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.   The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, heard<br \/>\n     the matter on November 24, 2008.\n<\/p>\n<p> 3.    The Appellant was not present at the hearing.\n<\/p>\n<p>4.    Shri T. V. Vijayamoorty, CPIO and Dr. S.L. Hoti, Appellate Authority<br \/>\n      represented the Public Authority.\n<\/p>\n<p>Decision<\/p>\n<p>5.    The Respondents submitted that the Appellant had filed a A.O..99 of<br \/>\n      2007 in the CAT, Madras bench against the withdrawal of Assured<br \/>\n      Career Progression (ACP) benefit. The CAT Madras issued an Order<br \/>\n      dated 10.12.08 restoring the Appellant&#8217;s benefits withdrawn by VCRC<br \/>\n      and accordingly VCRS has restored the ACP benefit to the Appellant<br \/>\n      and his grievance has been addressed. The Responded submitted a<br \/>\n      copy of the order dated 21.02.08, No.VCR\/ESt\/O.A.99\/2007-08\/750 to<br \/>\n      the Commission.      The arrears were paid to the Appellant vide letter<br \/>\n      dated 18.06.08.\n<\/p>\n<p>6.
