(Oral)\n<\/pre>\n<p>            Petitioner has filed this writ petition with a prayer that<\/p>\n<p>directions be issued to the official respondents to take action against<\/p>\n<p>respondent Nos.5 to 13, as per law, for their illegal activities and also<\/p>\n<p>threats being posed to the petitioner. It has been stated that she is owner of<\/p>\n<p>a house, which was disputed by some of the private respondents, she filed a<\/p>\n<p>Civil Suit, which was decreed in her favour on 19.11.2001 (Annexure P1).<\/p>\n<p>In spite of that decree, the private respondents tried to interfere in her<\/p>\n<p>possession. She moved a complaint to the SHO concerned on 20.6.2009.<\/p>\n<p>On 21.6.2009, the private respondents demolished a portion of her house.<\/p>\n<p>To say so, reference has been made to the photographs put on record<\/p>\n<p>(Annexure P3). Further reference has also been made to a resolution passed<\/p>\n<p>by the Gram Panchayat, copy of which was sent to the SSP Jagraon.<\/p>\n<p>            It is contention of counsel for the petitioner that despite request<\/p>\n<p>made, the authorities have taken no action against the private respondents<\/p>\n<p>and further no security cover has been provided to the petitioner.<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\"> Civil Writ Petition No.10075 of 2009                                       2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>             In view of facts of this case, this writ petition is disposed of by<\/p>\n<p>issuing directions to Senior Superintendent of Police, Jagraon to take action<\/p>\n<p>on complaint made by the petitioner, as also on resolution passed by the<\/p>\n<p>Gram Panchayat, forthwith and initiate remedial steps so that the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>may live in peace. After verification, if it is necessary to register a criminal<\/p>\n<p>case against the private respondents or anybody else, the needful be done as<\/p>\n<p>per law.
