SIRI JAGAN, J.\n                  ------------------------------\n                  W.P.(C) No.28386 OF 2010\n                  -------------------------------\n         Dated this the 14th day of September, 2010\n\n                        J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner joined as a Lower Division Clerk in the<\/p>\n<p>Panchayat Common Service in 1982 and came over to the<\/p>\n<p>Municipal Common Service through option with effect from<\/p>\n<p>1.4.1990. According to the petitioner, commensurate with his<\/p>\n<p>seniority and test qualification, the petitioner is eligible and<\/p>\n<p>entitled to be promoted as Upper Division Clerk and also for<\/p>\n<p>inclusion in the seniority list. Claiming retrospective promotion<\/p>\n<p>and inclusion in the seniority list, published as per Ext.P1, the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 representation before the first<\/p>\n<p>respondent. For the present, the petitioner would be satisfied<\/p>\n<p>with a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass<\/p>\n<p>orders on Ext.P2 expeditiously.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.   I have heard the learned Government Pleader and the<\/p>\n<p>learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(c)No.28386\/10              2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      Having heard both sides, I dispose of this writ petition<\/p>\n<p>with a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass<\/p>\n<p>orders on Ext.P2 as expeditiously as possible, at any rate,<\/p>\n<p>within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a<\/p>\n<p>copy of this judgment.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                   S.
