HEMA, J.\n\n                  ------------------------------------------\n                     Bail Appl.No. 3872 of 2008\n                  ------------------------------------------\n               Dated this the 18th day of June, 2008.\n\n                                  ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>            Petition for bail.\n<\/p>\n<p>            2. The alleged offences are under Sections 498(A), 302<\/p>\n<p>and 34 of IPC. According to prosecution, the first accused&#8217;s wife had<\/p>\n<p>an unnatural death at his house on 22.5.2008 at about 5 p.m. She<\/p>\n<p>had allegedly poured kerosene         oil  over her body and      the first<\/p>\n<p>accused had pushed open the door and set fire on her by putting a<\/p>\n<p>burning match stick.\n<\/p>\n<p>            3. Learned counsel for the petitioner           submitted that<\/p>\n<p>petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased and she was brought<\/p>\n<p>to the picture only at a belated stage by an additional report. In the<\/p>\n<p>F.I. Statement, the name of the petitioner was not mentioned.           In<\/p>\n<p>fact, she was not present in the house on the date of occurrence.<\/p>\n<p>She was taking treatment at CHC, Ezhumattoor which is far away<\/p>\n<p>from the place of occurrence and an O.P. ticket is produced, which is<\/p>\n<p>issued by the CHC Ezhumattoor. It is dated 19.5.2008. The petitioner<\/p>\n<p>was advised to take injection also.\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">[B.A.3872\/08]                        2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      4. Petitioner is in custody from 28.5.2008. On hearing both<\/p>\n<p>sides, I am satisfied that her further detention may not be required<\/p>\n<p>for the purpose of investigation.\n<\/p>\n<p>        5. Hence, petitioner is granted bail on the following terms and<\/p>\n<p>conditions:\n<\/p>\n<p>             i) Petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.50,000\/- with two<\/p>\n<p>solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the lower<\/p>\n<p>court.\n<\/p>\n<p>             ii) Petitioner shall report before the Investigating Officer<\/p>\n<p>on every    Monday and Thursday between 10 A.M. and 1 P.M. until<\/p>\n<p>further orders.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>             Petition is allowed.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                  K.
