Grewal, Principal Secretary, Education, Punjab and Mr. R.L.<\/p>\n<p>Mehta, Director Public Instructions (Secondary Education), Punjab, Chandigarh<\/p>\n<p>are present in the Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.             In response to show cause notice, issued by this Court, short<\/p>\n<p>affidavit of Sh. R.L. Mehta, Director Public Instructions (Secondary Education),<\/p>\n<p>Pubjab, Chandigarh has been filed, wherein it has been submitted that in<\/p>\n<p>compliance of the orders dated 11.12.2008 and 13.07.2009 passed by this Court<\/p>\n<p>in CWP No.20800 of 2008 and COCP No.1231 of 2009 respectively a speaking<\/p>\n<p>order dated 12.11.2009 (Annexure R-1) has been passed accepting the claim of<\/p>\n<p>the petitioners.    Mr. M.C. Berry, Addl.A.G. Punjab appears on behalf of<\/p>\n<p>respondents and on instructions from Mr. G.S. Grewal, Principal Secretary of<\/p>\n<p>Department of Education, Punjab, Chandigarh states that consequential benefits<\/p>\n<p>to all the petitioners shall be paid within four weeks from today.<\/p>\n<p>3.           In view of the reply filed by the respondent and assurance given by<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\"> COCP No.2009 of 2009                                         -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Berry, I am not inclined to proceed further with the petition.<\/p>\n<p>4.
