  ‘*.iThel”petitioners who are residents of Dasanapura Village,<\/p>\n
.  ‘Fq_., Mysore District and who are espousing the cause of<\/p>\n

\nthe public, have filed this Public Interest Litigation, alleging that<\/p>\n
the land bearing Sy.No. 10\/25 measuring 1 acre and 28 guntas is a
\ntank bed land, situate at Dasanapura Village, Hangodujjlobli,<\/p>\n
Hunsur Tq., and the Villagers are using this tank bed <\/p>\n
cattle grazing and that the water in the said tank:–is  <\/p>\n
feeding the cattle.   ._<\/p>\n
2. According to the petitioners, there”–are several ‘valuia’ble’–..g<\/p>\n
trees over the said land and the sarne””has been ‘protectedlllby the V<\/p>\n
villagers of Dasanpura Village from’iiithei;past_ overilsevevral years;
\nthat the sixth respondent Smt. lD.evamiin’a w:h’oi’_’iVsiiithe adjacent land<\/p>\n
owner of the said_.,larid-,_ ocigcupiieicl thieii”_taVnkif’bed area and has<\/p>\n
encroached into to  ‘eittent’vofv acre and 28 guntas and
\nhad cut  standing on the said land; the
\nsixth respondentin\ufb02tience, colluded with the revenue
\nofficials the inter_e_st of the villagers.<\/p>\n
 ~ 3;\u00bb  .ivs’\u00abtl1e:i’c.ase of the petitioners that though they made<\/p>\n
 repreis’en*ta’tion’ i’respondents–2 to S in this regard to take<\/p>\n
 necessarif’ action’ ‘against the illegal encroachment of Government<\/p>\n
 sixth respondent; respondents~2 to 5 being the<\/p>\n
statutory “authorities, did not initiate any action despite the<\/p>\n
ieoniplaint made by the petitioners. Hence the petitioners have<\/p>\n

\nkatte land and not a complete Government land and that on<\/p>\n
25.11.2008, the sixth respondent, who is an adjacent owner of the
\nland bearing Sy.No.20, made an application to the fourth<\/p>\n
respondent~Tahsildar requesting him to survey her <\/p>\n
grant permission for cutting the trees. After survey, it_.vvas ;}e:+iea1;\u00a7ci.t’ ‘<\/p>\n
that the trees which were cut down, happen._t_o fal’l.lin”t:1jo lhidiivaliu ll<\/p>\n

stated that necessary action has bee_n\u00b0’in_itiated..by. issuing notice
