No.2400 OF 2000\n         ----------------------------------------------\n                   Dated 28th May,     2009.\n\n                          JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Aggrieved by Ext.P2 order, by which the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>was demanded to pay a sum of Rs.43163\/- being the<\/p>\n<p>renewed Kuthakappattom rent, the petitioner approached<\/p>\n<p>this court by filing this writ petition.<\/p>\n<p>      2. On instruction, the learned Government Pleader<\/p>\n<p>submitted that the 2nd respondent-District Collector had<\/p>\n<p>informed as per letter No.E1 19499\/99 dated 14.2.2000<\/p>\n<p>that the Kuthakappattom from the petitioner            need be<\/p>\n<p>collected at the previous rate        based on Government<\/p>\n<p>Order No.G.O.MS 1025\/85\/RD dated 19.12.85, and no<\/p>\n<p>revised rate need be remitted by the petitioner. It is also<\/p>\n<p>instructed the Village Officer, Mundakayam,            the 4th<\/p>\n<p>respondent herein, not to realise the renewed rate of<\/p>\n<p>Kuthakappattom. Thus, according to the respondents and<\/p>\n<p>the learned Government Pleader, Ext.P2 notice is not in<\/p>\n<p>force.\n<\/p>\n<p>O.P.2400\/2000<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                              -:2:-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      I have perused the written instruction which made<\/p>\n<p>available to me for perusal. In the light of the above<\/p>\n<p>written instruction, I am of the view that no further<\/p>\n<p>orders are necessary in the writ petition.
