RAMKUMAR, J.\n                        =============\n               Bail Application No.4082 of 2010\n              =======================\n                 DATED: 4th day of August, 2010\n\n                             O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioner, who is the 4th accused in Crime No.286\/2010 of<\/p>\n<p>Kovalam Police Station for offences punishable under Secs. 5(A)<\/p>\n<p>of Kerala Rationing Order 1966 read with section 3 and 7 of<\/p>\n<p>Essential Commodities Act, 1953, seeks anticipatory bail.<\/p>\n<p>      2.    The learned Public Prosecutor opposed the application.<\/p>\n<p>      3.    Anticipatory bail cannot be granted in a case of this<\/p>\n<p>nature.   But at the same time,       I am inclined to permit the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner to surrender before the Investigating Officer for the<\/p>\n<p>purpose of interrogation and then to have his application for bail<\/p>\n<p>considered by the Magistrate having jurisdiction. Accordingly,<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner shall surrender before the investigating officer on<\/p>\n<p>16.8.10 or on      17.8.10 for the purpose of interrogation and<\/p>\n<p>recovery of incriminating material, if any.
