Justice HARUN-UL-RASHID\n\n Dated :08\/04\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n           KURIAN JOSEPH &amp; HARUN-UL-RASHID, JJ.\n          ----------------------------------------------------------------\n                       W.P.(C) NO. 10928 OF 2008\n          ----------------------------------------------------------------\n\n                   Dated this the 8th day of April, 2008\n\n                                 JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>Kurian Joseph, J.\n<\/p>\n<p>      The Writ Petition is filed with the following prayer:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>           &#8220;To issue a writ of mandamus or other<br \/>\n           appropriate writ, direction or order directing the<br \/>\n           Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram to dispose<br \/>\n           of O.P. 983\/2006 within a time limit fixed by<br \/>\n           this Hon&#8217;ble Court.&#8221;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>      2.  O.P. No.983 of 2006 on the file of the Family Court,<\/p>\n<p>Thiruvananthapuram is a case filed by the respondents claiming<\/p>\n<p>maintenance. Pursuant to the direction issued by this Court, both sides<\/p>\n<p>were present. We appointed Dr. Sebastian Champappilly as mediator-<\/p>\n<p>cum-conciliator. The process of mediation was on the way and in the<\/p>\n<p>meanwhile, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that<\/p>\n<p>the respondents are not interested in pursuing the settlement and that they<\/p>\n<p>want a decision on merits. The petitioner who is present today also<\/p>\n<p>submits that she has to go back to the United States of America on<\/p>\n<p>11.4.2008 and hopes to be back in India by the end of May, 2008.            O.P.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(C)NO.10928\/2008                 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>No.983 of 2006 on the file of the Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram shall<\/p>\n<p>be made ripe by the parties and the matter shall be posted before the<\/p>\n<p>Family Court on 31.5.2008.
