The information was given on 29\/10\/2009.<br \/>\nThe PIO states that the person responsible for giving the information late by 77 days was Mr.<br \/>\nB.S. Meena, Junior Engineer.\n<\/p>\n<p>Decision:\n<\/p>\n<p>The Appeal is allowed.\n<\/p>\n<p>       The information appears to have been provided.\n<\/p>\n<p>The issue before the Commission is of not supplying the complete, required information by<br \/>\nthe deemed PIO Mr. B.S. Meena, Junior Engineer within 30 days as required by the law.<br \/>\nFrom the facts before the Commission it is apparent that the deemed PIO Mr. B.S. Meena, Junior<br \/>\nEngineer is guilty of not furnishing information within the time specified under sub-section (1)<br \/>\nof Section 7 by not replying within 30 days, as per the requirement of the RTI Act.\n<\/p>\n<p>It appears that the deemed PIO&#8217;s actions attract the penal provisions of Section 20 (1). A<br \/>\nshowcause notice is being issued to him, and he is directed give his reasons to the Commission to<br \/>\nshow cause why penalty should not be levied on him.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                                                 Page no. 2 of3<br \/>\n Mr. B.S.
