RAVIKUMAR, JJ.\n                    ---------------------------------------------\n                        W.P.(C) NO. 25325 OF 2009\n                    ---------------------------------------------\n                Dated this the 17th day of September, 2009\n\n\n                                  JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>Kurian Joseph, J.\n<\/p>\n<p>      This Writ Petition is filed with the following prayer:\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>             &#8220;Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any<br \/>\n             other   appropriate      writ,    order    or    direction<br \/>\n             commanding 1st respondent to afford adequate<br \/>\n             and effective police protection to petitioner, their<br \/>\n             workmen who are ready and willing to work, for<br \/>\n             their ingress and egress to and fro the petitioner&#8217;s<br \/>\n             cinema theatre, &#8220;Veeiah              Cine House&#8221; at<br \/>\n             Alappuzha and for its due functioning as to<br \/>\n             discharge their duties land works therein.&#8221;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In this regard, there is already an interim order dated 31.8.2009 which<\/p>\n<p>reads as follows:\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>             &#8220;There will be a direction to the first respondent<br \/>\n             to see that the law and order situation shall be<br \/>\n             maintained in the premises of the theatre at<br \/>\n             Alappuzha, conducted by the petitioner.&#8221;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>      The Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of the above interim order.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>                                         (KURIAN JOSEPH)<br \/>\n                                                   JUDGE<\/p>\n<p>                                         (C.T.
