No.23386 OF 2008\n          -----------------------------------------------\n\n         Dated this the 10th day of December, 2008\n\n                           JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>     The petitioner is presently working as Nursing Assistant<\/p>\n<p>in the Health Services Department.          He is aggrieved by<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P1 order     transferring him from the Primary Health<\/p>\n<p>Centre, Kondotty to Government Taluk Hospital, Tirur.      The<\/p>\n<p>petitioner submits that, he will have to travel more than 55<\/p>\n<p>kilometers and that no grounds exist to transfer him from<\/p>\n<p>Kondotty to Tirur.\n<\/p>\n<p>     2. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the<\/p>\n<p>respondents on instructions submits that vacancies of<\/p>\n<p>Nursing Assistant exist at Manjeri and that of the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>is willing to be posted at Manjeri, necessary orders in that<\/p>\n<p>regard will be issued by the District Medical Officer of<\/p>\n<p>Health, Manjeri.     The learned counsel appearing for the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner submits that the petitioner is willing to be<\/p>\n<p>transferred and posted in the District Hospital at Manjeri .<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WP(C)NO.23386\/08               2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      In the light of the submissions made at the bar, the<\/p>\n<p>District Medical Officer of Health, Manjeri is directed to<\/p>\n<p>issue orders transferring and posting the petitioner as<\/p>\n<p>Nursing    Assistant   in  the    District Hospital,    Manjeri<\/p>\n<p>expeditiously and in any event within one month from the<\/p>\n<p>date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
