Mr.S.C.Herold Singh\n\t\t\t    Government Advocate\n* * * * *\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tHeard Mr.G.Thalaimutharasu, the learned counsel appearing for the<br \/>\npetitioner and Mr.S.C.Herold Singh, the learned Government Advocate, appearing<br \/>\nfor the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel<br \/>\nappearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if<br \/>\nthe first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated<br \/>\n23.12.2008, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. The learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the<br \/>\nrespondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on<br \/>\neither side, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation,<br \/>\ndated 23.12.2008, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an<br \/>\nopportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as to the other parties<br \/>\nconcerned,  within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy<br \/>\nof this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the<br \/>\nrepresentation, dated 23.12.2008, to the first respondent, along with a copy of<br \/>\nthis order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not<br \/>\nexpressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, with the above<br \/>\ndirections. No costs.
