If yes, then in which branch\/office?\n\nGrounds for Complaint:\nMisleading and incomplete information provided by the CPIO.\n\nRelevant Facts<\/pre>\n<p> emerging during Hearing:\n<\/p>\n<p>The following were present<br \/>\nComplainant : Mr. S.S. Ranawat on video conference from NIC-Bhilwara Studio;<br \/>\nRespondent : Mr. Pramod Musbsatal, CPIO &amp; Head of Branch on video conference from NIC-\n<\/p>\n<p>               Mumbai Studio;\n<\/p>\n<p>        The PIO has denied a copy of the charge sheet on the contention that the charge sheet has been<br \/>\nfiled in the court and the Complainant can obtain it from the court. Under right to Information any<br \/>\npublic authority that holds the information has to provide it, unless it is exempted under Section 8(1)<br \/>\nof the RTI Act. No exemption under Section 8(1) of the RTI Act had been claimed for the charge sheet<br \/>\nwhich is a public document and hence the PIO must provide copy of the charge sheet to the<br \/>\nComplainant. On query-2 &amp; 3 the PIO has given convincing reasons why the information should not<br \/>\nbe disclosed and that if it is disclosed it will impede the process of investigation.
