Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :01\/12\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n                      ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n                    ================\n                W.P.(C) NO. 28109 OF 2009 (R)\n               =====================\n\n          Dated this the 1st day of December, 2009\n\n                         J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>     The prayer sought in this writ petition filed by persons who<\/p>\n<p>are working as Amins, is to direct respondents to provide them<\/p>\n<p>the benefit of GO(P) No.617\/95\/(58)\/Fin. dated 1\/1\/95 or to step<\/p>\n<p>up their pay on par with that of Sri.J.P.Anil Kumar.     However,<\/p>\n<p>during the pendency of this writ petition, the Government have<\/p>\n<p>issued GO(Rt) No2813\/2009\/Home dated 22\/9\/09, a copy of which<\/p>\n<p>has been produced as Ext.P7 along with IA No. 15009\/09.<\/p>\n<p>     2.    By Ext.P7 Government Order, Government have<\/p>\n<p>extended the higher grade admissible to Duffedars under<\/p>\n<p>common category to the Process Servers\/Court Keepers\/Duffedars<\/p>\n<p>of Judicial Department w.e.f. 1\/3\/92 with monitory benefits from<\/p>\n<p>01\/04\/95. Petitioners submit that they will be contended if the<\/p>\n<p>benefit of Ext.P7 is extended to them and only seeks a direction<\/p>\n<p>to the respondents to extend the monitory benefits as ordered in<\/p>\n<p>the said Government Order.\n<\/p>\n<p>     3.    Having regard to the contents of the Government<\/p>\n<p>Order dated 22\/9\/09 referred to above, this writ petition is<\/p>\n<p>WPC 28109\/09<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                :2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to pass appropriate order<\/p>\n<p>on their claim to extend the monitory benefits flowing from Ext.P7<\/p>\n<p>Government Order to the petitioners.
