Respondent.\n\n\nPrayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner for appointment as Village Health Nurse for the existing vacancies by implementing the order passed by the Hon'ble Tamilnadu Administrative Tribunal, Chennai in O.A.No.2310\/2004, dated 2.6.2004, within the time limit that may be prescribed by this Hon'ble Court. \n\n\t\tFor Petitioner\t: \tMr.V.Chandrasekaran\n\n\t\tFor Respondents\t:  \tMr.S.Gopinathan\n\t\t\t\t\t\tAdditional Government Pleader\n\n\n\n\n\n\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tHeard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final hearing and disposal.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 2.12.2005, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p> \t4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 2.12.2005, if it had not been disposed of till date, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated 2.12.2005, to the respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
