THE DEPUTY SECRETARY, HOME DEPARTMENT GOVERNMENT\n          OF JHARKHAND, NEPAL HOUSE, RANCHI\n                                  -----------\n<\/pre>\n<p>02.   02.11.2010                Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and<\/p>\n<p>                    learned counsel for the State.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                The petitioner was appointed as Sergeant in<\/p>\n<p>                    the Police in January, 1970 and promoted in April,<\/p>\n<p>                    1982 as a Sergeant Major followed by promotion to the<\/p>\n<p>                    rank   of    Dy.   S.P.     in   November,   1999,   after<\/p>\n<p>                    superannuation on 31.7.2009.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                The contention of the petitioner is to be<\/p>\n<p>                    considered for grant of second A.C.P. in the Scale of<\/p>\n<p>                    Rs. 10,000-15200\/- wrongly granted to him in the<\/p>\n<p>                    Scale of Rs. 7500-11200\/-. Specific assertion has been<\/p>\n<p>                    made in paragraph-15 of the writ application that his<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                           2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>       juniors have been granted the benefit of second A.C.P.<\/p>\n<p>       in the former scale.\n<\/p>\n<p>                  The counter affidavit of the respondents<\/p>\n<p>       explicitly states in more than one paragraph that the<\/p>\n<p>       claims of the petitioner are under consideration.<\/p>\n<p>                  Let the respondent no.-2 consider and<\/p>\n<p>       decide the claim of the petitioner by a reasoned and<\/p>\n<p>       speaking order within a maximum period of two<\/p>\n<p>       months from the date of receipt\/production of a copy<\/p>\n<p>       of this order.\n<\/p>\n<p>                  Needless to state that, if the respondents<\/p>\n<p>       find justification in the claim or any part of the claim,<\/p>\n<p>       necessary consequential orders shall be issued within<\/p>\n<p>       the same period.\n<\/p>\n<p>                  The application stands disposed.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<pre>P.K.
