Justice K.SURENDRA MOHAN\n\n Dated :17\/02\/2010\n\n O R D E R\n                     K.SURENDRA MOHAN, J.\n                  -------------------------------------------\n                     W.P.(C) No.5129 of 2010\n                  -------------------------------------------\n            Dated this the 17th day of February, 2010\n\n                              JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The petitioner had suffered injuries in a motor vehicle<\/p>\n<p>accident involving a bus owned by the Kerala State Road Transport<\/p>\n<p>Corporation.   The petitioner moved the Motor Accidents Claims<\/p>\n<p>Tribunal, Ernakulam by filing O.P.(MV) No.1960 of 1994. As per<\/p>\n<p>award dated 26.8.1998, the petitioner has been awarded an amount<\/p>\n<p>of Rs.22,000\/- as compensation for the injuries suffered by him.<\/p>\n<p>However, the petitioner complains that the award amount has not<\/p>\n<p>been paid to him till date.        Though the Tribunal has issued a<\/p>\n<p>certificate for initiation of Revenue Recovery proceedings on<\/p>\n<p>24.1.2001 as per orders in E.P.No.312\/2000, no action has been<\/p>\n<p>taken thereon.\n<\/p>\n<p>       2. The Standing Counsel for KSRTC submits that the award<\/p>\n<p>amount would be fully satisfied within a period of three months from<\/p>\n<p>today.\n<\/p>\n<p>       3.
