Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned<br \/>\nSpecial Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents. By consent of both<br \/>\nthe counsel, the writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. This writ petition has been filed for a direction against the<br \/>\nrespondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2004<br \/>\nto promote as Junior Engineer taking into his Seniority with effect from<br \/>\n1.11.1990.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this<br \/>\nCourt is inclined to issue a direction, without going into the merits of the<br \/>\ncase.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. There will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the<br \/>\nrepresentation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2004 and pass orders in accordance<br \/>\nwith law after giving opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of eight<br \/>\nweeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t6. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of.<br \/>\nConsequently, the connected W.P.M.P is  closed.
