Jindal, J<br \/>\n            This appeal for enhancement is directed against the award dated<br \/>\n22.10.2005 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Patiala,<br \/>\nawarding compensation to the tune of Rs.2,68,800\/- along with interest @<br \/>\n6% per annum in favour of the claimants-appellants.\n<\/p>\n<p>            The issue with regard to apportionment between the claimants<br \/>\nnamely Labh Kaur and Amarjit Singh on one hand and Amarjit Kaur on the<br \/>\nother hand stand settled. The claimant now wants to press the issue with<br \/>\nregard to enhancement of compensation.\n<\/p>\n<p>            Heard.\n<\/p>\n<p>            With the consensus of the parties, this appeal is partly allowed.<br \/>\nNow the claimant would receive a sum of Rs.30,000\/- over and above the<br \/>\naward amount which would be paid by the respondents within 45 days from<br \/>\nthe date of receipt of copy of the order failing which the claimant would be<br \/>\nentitled to receive interest at the same rate as awarded by the Tribunal, on<br \/>\nthe enhanced amount. However, it is made clear that the claimant-Amarjit<br \/>\nKaur being the widow, would only be entitled to receive enhanced amount<br \/>\nof compensation.\n<\/p>\n<pre>December 18, 2009                                       (A.N.
