<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=Title\">Title<\/a>: Need to expedite the completion of Sardar  Vallabhbhai Patel Memorial at Karamsad, district Anand, Gujarat.   <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=SHRI%20HARIN%20PATHAK%20\">SHRI HARIN PATHAK <\/a>(<a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=AHMEDABAD%20EAST\">AHMEDABAD EAST<\/a>): Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Memorial is being developed at Karamsad, district Anand, Gujarat state.\u00a0 To commemorate and preserve the memory of Sardar Patel and Veer Vithalbhai, a unique Joint Memorial of both the brothers is being developed at Karamsad.\u00a0 At present the information on the life and works of both the brothers is scattered at many places, archives and with many individuals.\u00a0 The memorial proposes to remove this lacuna by setting up a National Resources Centre where published, unpublished and archival material including letters, audio and visual material will be brought together at one place for preservation, retrieval and dissemination.\u00a0 The ultimate aim is to develop the memorial into a vibrant institution.\u00a0 To make the memorial fully operational, additional facilities such as Audio \u2013 Visual equipments, Digital\/virtual library equipments, computers and Networking equipment and furniture will be required.\u00a0 The total cost of these equipments and facilities is estimated at Rs. 107 lakhs.\u00a0For maintenance and development of Memorial, a corpus fund of Rs. 5.00 crores is required.\u00a0 Sir, I request Government of India to do the needful at the earliest in this case and to ensure timely completion with adequate provision of funds for the scheme.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0   <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lok Sabha Debates Need To Expedite The Completion Of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Memorial &#8230;
