On<br \/>\n        17-3-2005 we have ordered as follows:<br \/>\n         &#8220;Police  to  see that law and order is maintained@@<br \/>\n        i<br \/>\n                and civil court orders are not violated.&#8221;<br \/>\n        Civil cases as well as criminal cases are to  be  decided<br \/>\n        on  the  basis  of  evidence  according  to the procedure<br \/>\n        prescribed by law as  it  cannot  be  resolved  in  these<br \/>\n        proceedings  under  Article  226  of  the Constitution of<br \/>\n        India.
