SIRI JAGAN, J.\n                ------------------------------------\n                   W.P.(C)No.2341 OF 2008\n              ----------------------------------------\n                 Dated this the 6th day of June, 2008\n\n                           JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner is a Union of workmen of the 3rd respondent.<\/p>\n<p>They are aggrieved by the failure on the part of the 3rd<\/p>\n<p>respondent in conducting referendum for recognition of unions of<\/p>\n<p>the 3rd respondent. They would now submit that by Exts.P6 and<\/p>\n<p>P7 appropriate proceedings have been initiated for conducting the<\/p>\n<p>referendum and the District Labour Officer, Alappuzha has been<\/p>\n<p>appointed as the Returning Officer to conduct the referendum<\/p>\n<p>with the Regional Joint Labour Commissioner, Kollam as an<\/p>\n<p>Independent Observer of the referendum proceedings.           The<\/p>\n<p>petitioner  therefore,   seeks    a   direction   to complete  the<\/p>\n<p>proceedings initiated by Exts.P6 and P7 within a time frame.<\/p>\n<p>      2.   I have heard the learned counsel for the parties in this<\/p>\n<p>writ petition. After hearing, I am satisfied that the proceedings<\/p>\n<p>initiated by EXts.P6 and P7 shall be completed within a time<\/p>\n<p>frame.\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(c)No.2341\/08               2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a<\/p>\n<p>direction to the Labour Commissioner, Thiruvananthapuram,<\/p>\n<p>Regional Joint Labour Commissioner, Kollam and the District<\/p>\n<p>Labour Officer, Alappuzha to complete the proceedings<\/p>\n<p>initiated by Exts.P6 and P7, as expeditiously as possible, at<\/p>\n<p>any rate, within a period of three months from the date of<\/p>\n<p>receipt pf a copy of this judgment.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                    S.
