Complainant was present at<br \/>\nNIC VC facility at Sirmaur while the respondents \u23af represented by<br \/>\nShri R.K.Choudhary, PIO \u23af were present at NIC VC facility at Ranchi.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.    At the outset, respondents stated that they have been diligently<br \/>\nproviding to the complainant all information as directed by CIC through<br \/>\norder dated 30.07.2007. The records are pretty old and not properly<br \/>\nmaintained. At every stage, diligent search had been conducted to<br \/>\ntrace out the records which have been provided to the complainant<br \/>\nfrom time to time corresponding to his RTI-application dated<br \/>\n21.03.2006. CPIO even invited the complainant to join them in<br \/>\nsearching out the records, but complainant did not respond. It was<br \/>\nstated on behalf of the respondents that nothing more can be done in<br \/>\nthis matter, which relates to the period 1983 to 1995.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.    After hearing both the sides, it is my view that no useful purpose<br \/>\nshall be served by prolonging this matter any further \u23af old as it is.<br \/>\nI agree with the respondents that they have diligently searched for the<br \/>\nrecords and provided to the complainant all that they could locate.\n<\/p>\n<p>4.     In view of the above, I do not wish to prolong this matter further<br \/>\nor to conduct an enquiry in respect of this complaint.\n<\/p>\n<p>5.     Matter disposed of with these directions.\n<\/p>\n<p>6.     Copy of this direction be sent to the parties.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                         ( A.N.
