Justice S.SIRI JAGAN\n\n Dated :07\/04\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                          S.SIRI JAGAN, J.\n                      =======================\n                        W.P.(C) No.11779 of 2008(B)\n                      =======================\n\n                   Dated this the 7th day of April, 2008\n\n\n                             JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioners are included in the seniority list of<\/p>\n<p>candidates in the feeder category for promotion to the post of<\/p>\n<p>Lecturer in Polytechnics and equated categories as on 31.12.2006<\/p>\n<p>as mentioned by Ext.P1. Although 12 vacancies arose in the year<\/p>\n<p>2006, only 4 vacancies were filled up and 8 more vacancies<\/p>\n<p>should have been filled up      that year. Petitioners contention is<\/p>\n<p>that they are entitled to be considered for promotion to those 8<\/p>\n<p>vacancies which have arisen in the year 2006.            Seeking this<\/p>\n<p>relief, the petitioners have filed Exts. P5 and P6 revision petitions<\/p>\n<p>before the 2nd respondent. The petitioners seek a direction to the<\/p>\n<p>2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts. P5 and P6.<\/p>\n<p>      2.    I have heard the learned Government Pleader also. In<\/p>\n<p>the facts and circumstances          of the case, I direct the 2nd<\/p>\n<p>respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts. P5 and P6 as<\/p>\n<p>expeditiously as possible,      at any rate, within two months from<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\"> W.P.(C) No.6965\/2008\/D                -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
