Thakkar Associates for the<br \/>\npetitioner.  The learned advocate for the petitioner vehemently tried<br \/>\nto convince this Court that the order passed by the Director of<br \/>\nMunicipalities is bad on the ground that, though the subject matter<br \/>\nof the notice was pertaining to the transactions, which took place in<br \/>\nthe earlier tenure of the petitioner as a Councilor and the<br \/>\nPresident, by the order impugned, the petitioner was removed as a<br \/>\nCouncilor.  The term of the petitioner as President had come to an<br \/>\nend on<br \/>\n4th September 2010.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.0\tThe<br \/>\nfact that the transactions, which are the subject matter of the<br \/>\nnotice, do involve a grave nature of irregularity\/illegality.  Hence,<br \/>\nthis Court is of the opinion that decision of the authority of not<br \/>\ncontinuing the petitioner, even as a Councilor, is just and proper.<br \/>\nHence, this Court has no reason to interfere with the order passed by<br \/>\nthe Director of Municipalities.
