Mr.K.M.Vijaya Kumar,\n\t\t      Special Government Pleader\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tHeard Mr.R.Boomirajan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner<br \/>\nand Mr.K.M.Vijaya Kumar, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for<br \/>\nthe respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for<br \/>\nhearing and disposal.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel<br \/>\nappearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if<br \/>\nthe first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the<br \/>\npetitioner, dated 10.05.2010, on merits and in accordance with law, within a<br \/>\nspecified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the<br \/>\nrespondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on<br \/>\neither side, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by<br \/>\nthe petitioner, dated 10.05.2010, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the<br \/>\npetitioner, as well as to the other persons concerned, on merits and in<br \/>\naccordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of<br \/>\na copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the<br \/>\nappeal, dated 10.05.2010, to the first respondent, along with a copy of this<br \/>\norder. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not<br \/>\nexpressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tThis writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
