Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :29\/06\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n\n\n                                K.S.Radhakrishnan\n\n                                             &amp;\n\n                               Antony Dominic, JJ.\n\n                 ========================\n\n                              W.A.No.2635 of 2002\n\n                 ========================\n\n\n                Dated this the 29th  day of June, 2007.\n\n\n                                      JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>Radhakrishnan,J.\n<\/p>\n<p>         Original Petition was preferred by the appellant seeking a writ of<\/p>\n<p>certiorari calling for the records leading to the decision not to promote<\/p>\n<p>the petitioners as Draftsman Gr.II earlier than 1998 and to quash the<\/p>\n<p>same and also for a mandamus compelling the respondents to promote<\/p>\n<p>the petitioners as Draftsman Gr.II with retrospective effect from 1985.\n<\/p>\n<p>Though the petitioner sought a writ of certiorari, no orders have been<\/p>\n<p>produced before this Court so as to examine as to whether the orders<\/p>\n<p>are   correct   or   not.     It   is   seen   that   one   of   the   petitioners   preferred<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P7 representation to the Managing Director, Kerala Water Authority<\/p>\n<p>for   promoting   him   to   the   post   of   Draftsman   Gr.II   with   retrospective<\/p>\n<p>effect   from   1985   onwards.     We   are   not   told   of   the   fate   of   that<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WA 2635\/02                       -: 2 :-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>representation.
