A.K. PREMAJAM <\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/a>(<a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=BADAGARA\"><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=BADAGARA\">BADAGARA<\/a><\/a>) : The Government of Kerala has submitted a Land Acquisition Estimate for the construction of the old and narrow bridge at Palolipalam and approach road from K.M. 201\/090 to 202\/065 NH.17 vide reference No. NH8-D15-4862\/2001 dated 22.08.2001. There is a provision of Rs.3 crores in the annual plan for 2001-2003 for this work. The nature and necessity of this work has been explained in the report accompanying the estimate. The alignment for this reach has been approved by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and Land Acquisition. Estimate has been prepared accordingly, by keeping the minimum land width of 30 ms. The estimate comes to Rs.225.50 lakhs. The condition of the bridge is very poor and is getting deteriorated day by day with very heavy traffic.
