RAMACHANDRAN NAIR, JJ.\n                  = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n                       W.P.(C) NO. 37238 OF 2008\n                       = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n         DATED THIS, THE 19TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 2008.\n\n                              J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>Raman, J.\n<\/p>\n<p>      Ext.P4 is an application submitted by the petitioner            seeking<\/p>\n<p>permission to     conduct     information centre in connection with the<\/p>\n<p>Mandalam Makaravilakku festival, at Pampa. According to him, he had<\/p>\n<p>been conducting such information centre for the past several years at Pampa<\/p>\n<p>after obtaining sanction.       However, admittedly, this time no such<\/p>\n<p>permission is granted and he has not yet started any information centre,<\/p>\n<p>though according to him, he has already constructed a temporary stall.<\/p>\n<p>      2. On instruction, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the<\/p>\n<p>Devaswom Board submitted that besides the Jana Keralam Daily or<\/p>\n<p>supplement, petitioner was also found to sell other magazines, photos and<\/p>\n<p>other articles which cannot be permitted. Hence Ext.P4 application was not<\/p>\n<p>considered. However, it is submitted by the learned counsel appearing on<\/p>\n<p>behalf of the petitioner that petitioner will not sell any such articles other<\/p>\n<p>than the Janakeralam Daily,        its supplement and their own religious<\/p>\n<p>publications . This submission is recorded.<\/p>\n<pre>WP(C) 37238\/2008                      :2:\n\n      3.   Accordingly, there will be a direction      to consider   Ext.P4\n\napplication     by the Board or its authorised representative,     and pass\n\n<\/pre>\n<p>expeditious orders subject to the undertaking given by the petitioner as<\/p>\n<p>aforesaid, on deposit of Rs. 20,000\/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) by him.<\/p>\n<p>In case it is found that there is any violation of the undertaking as given<\/p>\n<p>above, the Devaswom Board is free to take appropriate action.          The<\/p>\n<p>amount of Rs. 20,000\/- shall be given by the petitioner to the Board along<\/p>\n<p>with the copy of the application whereupon Ext.P4 shall be disposed of as<\/p>\n<p>aforesaid.\n<\/p>\n<p>      Petitioner may produce a copy of this judgment before the Board<\/p>\n<p>authorities for enabling them to comply with the order.<\/p>\n<p>      The writ petition is disposed of as above.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                              P.R.
