Kuriakose, J<\/p>\n<p>     This appeal is remaining in the defect list for various<\/p>\n<p>reasons. But having gone through the impugned judgment and<\/p>\n<p>having heard the initial submissions of Smt.Latha T. Thankappan,<\/p>\n<p>the learned senior Government Pleader, we are of the view that<\/p>\n<p>the enhancement granted under the impugned judgment cannot<\/p>\n<p>be said to be excessive. According to us, no useful purpose will<\/p>\n<p>be served from the Government&#8217;s point of view by entertaining<\/p>\n<p>this appeal any longer.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>          This appeal, therefore, is rejected.<\/p>\n<p>                                            PIUS C.
