The<\/p>\n<p>duration of the course is one year commencing from June 2006<\/p>\n<p>and   ending   with   June   2007.   Entrance   examinations   were<\/p>\n<p>conducted in April 2006, results of which were published  in May<\/p>\n<p>2006.   However,   allotment   to   the   colleges   were   made   only   in<\/p>\n<p>October 2006 causing a delay of 5 months in starting the course<\/p>\n<p>resulting in loss of working days. Representations were made by<\/p>\n<p>the   teachers   as   well   as   the   students   to   reschedule   the   course<\/p>\n<p>and   make   good   the   loss   of   working   days   by   working   during<\/p>\n<p>saturdays     and   by   cutting   short   holidays,   taking   into   account<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P6 representation by the teachers undertaking to take classes<\/p>\n<p>during holidays also.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.   I   have   heard   the   learned   counsel   for   the     petitioner   as<\/p>\n<p>also   the   learned   standing   counsel   appearing   for   the   University.\n<\/p>\n<p>The   counsel   for   the   petitioner   points   out   that   by   Ext.P3,   the<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(C)No.12975\/2007                                            :2:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Kerala   University   has   rescheduled   the   course   and   the   Mahatma<\/p>\n<p>Gandhi University  had also taken   similar decision. In the above<\/p>\n<p>circumstances, it is only appropriate that the second respondent<\/p>\n<p>considers   Ext.P3   representation   filed   by   the   petitioners   in   the<\/p>\n<p>light of the facts stated above within a period of one month from<\/p>\n<p>the   date   of   receipt   of   a   copy   of   this   judgment.
