But after more than 9 months, due to improper implementation of the package at local level, farmers are still frustrated due to their poor financial condition, loan burden, bad crop, etc. and for these farmers there is no option but to commit\u00a0 suicide, that is\u00a0 why the suicide is still continuing in this region. The bank authorities while disbursing new crop loan to the affected farmers are deducting the outstanding amount of old loan from them. It is nowhere mentioned in the Vidarbha Package, that the outstanding amount of old loan would be deducted at the time of disbursing the new loan.
