Justice V.RAMKUMAR\n\n Dated :29\/03\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                           V.RAMKUMAR, J.\n\n                            ----------------------------\n\n                    Bail Application No. 1918\/2007\n\n                           -----------------------------\n\n                 Dated this  29th day of March, 2007\n\n\n                                 O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>                The   petitioner,     who   is   the   first   accused   in   Crime<\/p>\n<p>No.16\/2007   of   Dharmadam   Police   Station   for   offences<\/p>\n<p>punishable   under   Section   5   of   the   Explosive   Substances   Act,<\/p>\n<p>1908,  and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959, seeks anticipatory bail.<\/p>\n<p>      2.    The   learned   Public   Prosecutor   opposed   the<\/p>\n<p>application.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.    The   case   of   the   prosecution   is   that   on   26.1.2007   at<\/p>\n<p>about 12 noon,  the Sub Inspector of Police, Dharmadam, and his<\/p>\n<p>police party, on prior information, recovered one country bomb<\/p>\n<p>and   two   saker   knives   from   the   unfinished   house   of   one<\/p>\n<p>Pradeepan.     Subsequent   investigation   has   revealed   that   the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner was one of the persons who had secreted the arms in<\/p>\n<p>the said place and that the petitioner is also involved in similar<\/p>\n<p>other crimes involving similar offence.<\/p>\n<p>      4.    Anticipatory   bail   cannot   be   granted   in   a   case  of   this<\/p>\n<p>nature.       There   is   no   reason   why   the   petitioner   should   not<\/p>\n<p>surrender   before   the   Magistrate   concerned   and   seek   regular<\/p>\n<p>bail.
