Siri Jagan, J.\n              =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=\n                      W.P(C) No. 29594 of 2010\n              =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=\n            Dated this, the 27th day of September, 2010.\n\n                           J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioners were originally employees of the ICMR Project in<\/p>\n<p>the 3rd respondent&#8217;s office in 1982. In 1985, the ICMR informed the<\/p>\n<p>respondents to treat the petitioners as employees of the 3rd<\/p>\n<p>respondent.   Thereafter, in 1991, the 3rd respondent absorbed the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners as their employees with effect from 1987. According to<\/p>\n<p>the petitioners, while doing so, the petitioners&#8217; service for the period<\/p>\n<p>from 1982 to 1987 has not been reckoned for their service benefits.<\/p>\n<p>Seeking this relief, the petitioners have filed Ext. P6 representation<\/p>\n<p>to the Minister for Health and Family Welfare.         According to the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners, it has been forwarded to the 2nd respondent for<\/p>\n<p>appropriate action.      The petitioners seek a direction to the 2nd<\/p>\n<p>respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext. P 6 expeditiously.<\/p>\n<p>      2. I have heard the learned Government Pleader also.<\/p>\n<p>      3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose of this<\/p>\n<p>writ petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and<\/p>\n<p>pass orders on Ext. P6, after affording an opportunity of being heard<\/p>\n<p>to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within<\/p>\n<p>three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.<\/p>\n<p>      The petitioners shall forward a copy of the writ petition along<\/p>\n<p>with a certified copy of this     judgment to the 2nd respondent for<\/p>\n<p>compliance.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                         Sd\/- S.
