RAMKUMAR, J.\n\n                             - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n\n                      Bail Application No. 7386 of 2006\n\n                              - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n\n                               DATED:  13-12-2006\n\n\n                                        O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>         In this Petition filed under Sec. 439 Cr.P.C. the petitioner who is<\/p>\n<p>the     sole   accused   in     C.R.   No.   110   of   2006   of   Kayamkulam     Excise<\/p>\n<p>Range  for offences punishable under Secs. 8(1)  &amp; 8(2)  of the Abkari<\/p>\n<p>Act   for   having   been   found   in   possession   of   3   liters   of   illicit   arrack,<\/p>\n<p>seeks   his   enlargement   on   bail.     Petitioner   was   arrested   on     20-11-\n<\/p>\n<p>2006.\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.      I   heard     the   learned   counsel   for   the   petitioner   and   the<\/p>\n<p>learned Public Prosecutor.\n<\/p>\n<p>       3.      Having regard to the nature of the   offences, the duration<\/p>\n<p>of judicial custody of the petitioner and the other circumstances of the<\/p>\n<p>case etc.,   I  am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.   Accordingly,<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner is directed to be released on bail with effect from 20-12-\n<\/p>\n<p>2006     on   his     executing   a   bond   for   Rs.   20,000\/-   (Rupees   twenty<\/p>\n<p>thousand only) with two solvent sureties each for  the like amount to<\/p>\n<p>the   satisfaction   of   the   J.F.C.M   &#8211;   II,   Haripad,     and   subject   to   the<\/p>\n<p>following conditions:\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>                1.      Petitioner   shall   report   before   the   Investigating<\/p>\n<p>                Officer between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on all Wednesdays.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">Bail A.No. 7386\/06                       -:2:-<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>               2.     The   petitioner   shall   not   influence   or   intimidate   the<\/p>\n<p>               prosecution   witnesses   nor   shall   he   attempt   to   tamper<\/p>\n<p>               with the evidence for the prosecution.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>               3.
