Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute For The\n                                         Physically Handicapped\n\nDate of Hearing                  :       20.04.2011\n\n                                               ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>        Shri Chandan Kumar Chandan, Ms. Ruchika Yadav, &amp; Ms. Priyanka Sarpal, the<br \/>\nappellants have filed this appeal dated 26.5.2010 before the Commission against Pt.<br \/>\nDeendayal Upadhyaya Institute for the Physically Handicapped (PDUIPH), New Delhi for<br \/>\nproviding incomplete information to their RTI-request dated 17.3.2010, which came up for<br \/>\nhearing on 20.04.2011. One of the appellants, Ms. Ruchika Yadav was present in person,<br \/>\nwhereas the respondents were represented by Shri S.C. Ranga, FAA, Ms. Tejender Kaur,<br \/>\nPIO, Shri G.V. Gupta, Lecturer and Shri G. Pandian, Lecturer.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.      The appellants filed RTI-request dated 17.3.2010 seeking information on five RTI-<br \/>\nqueries &#8211;\n<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;(1) Please provide a copy of all the classes taken by Mr. Sharad C. Ranga for the period Jan&#8217;05<br \/>\nto Dec&#8217;07 of students of Dept. of Prosthetics &amp; Orthotics of all the batches; (2) Has Mr. Ranga<br \/>\nbeen on any leave during Jan&#8217;05 to Dec&#8217;07 period; (3)Has Mr. Ranga been on study leave<br \/>\nbetween period Jan&#8217;05 to Dec&#8217;07, if yes please provide copy of that; (4) If Mr. Ranga been on<br \/>\nstudy leave please provide copy of sanction letter for the study leave; and (5) Please provide a<br \/>\ncopy of attendance register in which Mr. G.V. Gupta, Mr. Rakesh Rawat , Mr. Pandian and Mr.<br \/>\nInder Vijay Singh as put their attendance. &#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>The PIO vide letter No. INF\/IPH\/RTI\/08-09\/203\/75\/10 dated 13.4.2010 has provided point-<br \/>\nwise reply to the appellants.\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                              -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>                                                           Case No. CIC\/SS\/A\/2011\/000163\n<\/p>\n<p>3.      Aggrieved by the decision of PIO, the appellants preferred first-appeal on<br \/>\n19.4.2010 before FAA. The FAA vide order No. INF\/IPH\/RTI\/08-09\/203\/271\/10 dated<br \/>\n13.5.2010 has decided appellant&#8217;s first-appeal and provided information on Point No. 4 &#8211;<br \/>\ncopies of relevant file notings.\n<\/p>\n<p>4.
