The alleged offence is under Section 8(2) of Abkari Act.<\/p>\n<p>According to the prosecution, the petitioner was found in<\/p>\n<p>possession of 7 litres of arrack on 23.09.2008 and he was<\/p>\n<p>arrested on the same day.\n<\/p>\n<p>     3. Learned Public Prosecutor submitted that he has no<\/p>\n<p>objection in granting bail on conditions.<\/p>\n<p>     Hence, bail is granted to the petitioner on the following<\/p>\n<p>terms and conditions :-\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>        (i) The petitioner      shall execute   a bond for<\/p>\n<p>             Rs.25,000\/- with two solvent sureties each for<\/p>\n<p>             like sum to the satisfaction of the Magistrate<\/p>\n<p>             court concerned.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>        (ii) The   petitioner    shall  report   before the<\/p>\n<p>             Investigating Officer on every Monday and<\/p>\n<p>             Thursday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. until<\/p>\n<p>             further orders.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>B.A.6214 of 2008<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                     2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>          (iii)The petitioner shall not commit any offence<\/p>\n<p>               while on bail and in case of breach of this<\/p>\n<p>               condition, bail is liable to be cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>      The petition is allowed.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                               K.HEMA, JUDGE<\/p>\n<p>pac<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kerala High Court Anandan vs The State Of Kerala on 13 October, 2008 IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM Bail Appl..No. 6214 of 2008() 1.
