Singhvi, for the petitioner\nMr Rajesh Joshi, for the respondents\n\n      By this petition for writ, an appropriate\n\nwrit,    order     or   direction     is    sought   by   the\n\npetitioners to declare illegal order dated 23rd\n\nFebruary,       1995    passed      by      the   Registrar,\n\nCooperative       Societies        fixing     strength    for\n\nvarious        cadre    of   officers       in    Ganganagar\n\nCentral Cooperative Bank Limited. In reply to\n\nthe     writ    petition,     it     is     stated   by   the\n\nrespondents that after issuance of the order\ndated 23rd February, 1995, staffing pattern was\n\nre-determined under an order dated 18th June,\n\n1997 and promotions have already been given to\n\nmembers of petitioner-Union. Para 10 of the\n\nreply filed by respondent-Bank is worth to be\n\nquoted:\n\n          \"10. That the contents of paras\n          No.10 to 13 of the writ petition\n          are not relevant so far as the\n          controversy   involved    in   the\n          present case is concerned. It is\n          relevant to mention here that\n          after the redetermination of the\n          staffing pattern vide Notification\n          Annexure\/3 dated 23.2.1995, the\n          staffing pattern was again re-\n          determined    vide    Notification\n         Annexure R.3\/1 dated 18.6.1997 and\n        thus, the Notification Annexure\/3\n        has   become    irrelevant    to   the\n        controversy     involved     in    the\n        instant   case.     It   is    further\n        relevant to mention here that in\n        pursuance    of   the    Notification\n        Annexure R.3\/1 dated 18.6.1997,\n        the DPC was held and on the basis\n        of the recommendations made by the\n        DPC, selections and promotions\n        were made. The copies of the\n        orders passed on the basis of the\n        recommendations of the DPC dated\n        20.10.1997,               20.10.1997,\n        27.10.1997, 19.7.1997, 10.11.1997,\n        10.11.1997    and     21.7.1997    are\n        submitted herewith and marked as\n        Annexures R.3\/2 to R.3\/8. Thus, it\n        is clear that in pursuance of the\n        revised staffing pattern fixed\n        vide Notification Annexure R.3\/1\n        dated 18.6.1997, the meetings of\n        the DPC were already convened and\n        their   results    have   also    been\n        declared. Thus, in this view of\n        the matter and specially in view\n        of      the       above        changed\n        circumstances,     the    contentions\n        made in paras No.10 to 13 of the\n        writ petition are irrelevant to\n        decide the controversy involved in\n        the instant case.\"\n\n      In view of averments made in para 10 of\n\n the reply, relief claimed by the petitioners\n\n in   this     petition    for        writ     has     become\n\n infructuous     and      as        such,     no      further\n\n adjudication is required.\n\n      Accordingly,     this     petition      for    writ   is\n\n dismissed.
