S.J. MUKHOPADHAYA)<\/p>\n<p>\tThe<br \/>\ncase relates to industries situated within Sarigam Industrial Estate<br \/>\nat Sarigam, Valsad.  The petitioners, pursuant to an order passed by<br \/>\nthis Court on 2.7.2010 in SCA No. 7652 of 2009, were required to<br \/>\ndeposit the requisite amount with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National<br \/>\nInstitute of Technology (SVPNIT) for inspection of their unit.  It<br \/>\nwas ordered that if they do not deposit the requisite amount for<br \/>\ninspection of their respective industry, then the Gujarat Pollution<br \/>\nControl Board may close the units.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tThe<br \/>\npetitioners&#8217; units having not deposited the requisite amount within<br \/>\nthe time, Gujarat Pollution Control Board ordered to close their<br \/>\nunits.  In this background, the writ petitions have been preferred.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tNow<br \/>\nit is informed that all the petitioners&#8217; units have deposited the<br \/>\nrequisite amount with SVPNIT, which is also confirmed by Mr. Sunil<br \/>\nMehta, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Gujarat Pollution<br \/>\nControl Board.  In view of such development, we direct SVPNIT to<br \/>\ninspect the units of the petitioners and submit report before the<br \/>\nGujarat Pollution Control Board, who will pass appropriate order<br \/>\ntaking into consideration the report as may be submitted by SVPNIT.<br \/>\nAll these writ petitions stand disposed of with the aforesaid<br \/>\nobservations.
