Counsel\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0respondents\u00a0submitted\u00a0that\u00a0since\u00a0the\u00a0issue,\u00a0involved\u00a0<br \/>\n       in\u00a0this\u00a0writ\u00a0petition,\u00a0has\u00a0already\u00a0been\u00a0settled,\u00a0they\u00a0have\u00a0nothing\u00a0much\u00a0to\u00a0<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                       2.<\/span><br \/>\noppose\u00a0the\u00a0matter\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0petitioners\u00a0may\u00a0be\u00a0directed\u00a0to\u00a0be\u00a0appointed\u00a0on\u00a0<br \/>\nthe\u00a0post\u00a0of\u00a0Assistant\u00a0Executive\u00a0Engineer.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>3.     In\u00a0view\u00a0of\u00a0this\u00a0limited\u00a0submissions\u00a0and\u00a0looking\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0reasons,\u00a0given\u00a0<br \/>\nin\u00a0the\u00a0order,\u00a0passed\u00a0by\u00a0this\u00a0Court\u00a0dated\u00a030th\u00a0March,\u00a02011\u00a0in\u00a0W.P.(S)\u00a0No.\u00a0583\u00a0<br \/>\nof \u00a0 2010 \u00a0 alongwith \u00a0 other \u00a0 allied \u00a0 matters, \u00a0 corrigendum \u00a0 issued \u00a0 by \u00a0 the\u00a0<br \/>\nrespondents, \u00a0 making \u00a0 Mechanical \u00a0 Engineers \u00a0 also \u00a0 eligible \u00a0 for \u00a0 the \u00a0 post, \u00a0 in\u00a0<br \/>\nquestion,\u00a0and\u00a0as\u00a0the\u00a0petitioners\u00a0have\u00a0already\u00a0been\u00a0selected\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0post,\u00a0in\u00a0<br \/>\nquestion,\u00a0at\u00a0serial\u00a0nos.\u00a045\u00a0and\u00a011,\u00a0respectively,\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0select\u00a0list\u00a0(Annexure\u00ad7\u00a0<br \/>\nseries \u00a0 to \u00a0 the \u00a0 memo \u00a0 of \u00a0 the \u00a0 present \u00a0 writ \u00a0 petition), \u00a0 I \u00a0 hereby, \u00a0 direct \u00a0 the\u00a0<br \/>\nrespondents\u00a0to\u00a0allow\u00a0the\u00a0petitioners\u00a0to\u00a0join\u00a0the\u00a0post\u00a0of\u00a0Assistant\u00a0Executive\u00a0<br \/>\nEngineer.\u00a0The\u00a0petitioners\u00a0shall\u00a0approach\u00a0respondent\u00a0no.\u00a02\/or\u00a0respondent\u00a0<br \/>\nno.\u00a0 3\u00a0for \u00a0 joining \u00a0the \u00a0duties \u00a0as \u00a0Assistant\u00a0Executive \u00a0 Engineer \u00a0within \u00a0forty\u00a0<br \/>\ndays\u00a0from\u00a0today.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>4.     Similarly,\u00a0W.P.(S)\u00a0No.\u00a06091\u00a0of\u00a02009\u00a0has \u00a0also\u00a0been\u00a0 allowed\u00a0by\u00a0this\u00a0<br \/>\nCourt\u00a0vide\u00a0judgment\/order\u00a0dated\u00a026th\u00a0July,\u00a02011.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>5.     I\u00a0hereby,\u00a0also\u00a0direct\u00a0the\u00a0respondents\u00a0to\u00a0allow\u00a0the\u00a0petitioners\u00a0to\u00a0place\u00a0<br \/>\nat \u00a0 appropriate \u00a0 serial \u00a0 number, \u00a0 looking \u00a0 to \u00a0 their \u00a0 serial \u00a0 nos. \u00a0 45 \u00a0 and \u00a0 11,\u00a0<br \/>\nrespectively,\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0select\u00a0list,\u00a0which\u00a0is\u00a0at\u00a0Annexure\u00ad7\u00a0series\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0memo\u00a0of\u00a0<br \/>\nthe\u00a0 present\u00a0petition \u00a0and\u00a0it\u00a0 will\u00a0be \u00a0communicated\u00a0 to\u00a0the \u00a0petitioners\u00a0that\u00a0<br \/>\nwhat\u00a0their\u00a0respective\u00a0serial\u00a0numbers\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0same\u00a0batch.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p> 6.
