Respondents <\/pre>\n<p>\tPrayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to refer to arbitration for determination of the compensation in respect of the lands acquired for National Highways situate in survey No.104\/2 in Palayanur Kollambakkam Village, Madurantakam Taluk, Kanchipuram District belonging to the petitioners.\n<\/p>\n<p>                 For petitioner  :  M\/s.APR Associates<br \/>\n                 For respondents :  Ms.R.Anitha<br \/>\n\t\t\t \t AGP<br \/>\nO  R D E R<br \/>\n     Ms.R.Anitha, the learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>    2. Though the prayer is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners had submitted that it would suffice, if the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 23.3.2009, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>    4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 23.3.2009, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners are directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated 23.3.2009, to the first respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.\n<\/p>\n<p>     5.
