Justice S.SIRI JAGAN\n\n Dated :31\/07\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n                                S.SIRI JAGAN, J.\n\n                        ==================\n\n                          W.P(C).No.17954 of 2008\n\n                        ==================\n\n                   Dated this the 31st day of July, 2009\n\n                                J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      In this writ petition the petitioners seek the following reliefs:<\/p>\n<p>      &#8220;a)    issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or<br \/>\n             direction directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary steps<br \/>\n             for preventing the &#8220;Salath meeting&#8221; scheduled to be held on<br \/>\n             16.06.2008 evening, so as to maintain law and order in the<br \/>\n             Mosque and its nearby areas.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                  and<\/p>\n<p>      b)     pass any other appropriate writ, order or direction which this<br \/>\n             Hon&#8217;ble Court may deem fit to issue and the petitioner may pray<br \/>\n             from time to time.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>      In so far as the meeting was scheduled to be held on 16.6.2008,<\/p>\n<p>no orders are necessary at this point of time.
