Ramachandran Nair, J.\n                   - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n                     W.P.(C) No.25851 of 2010-F\n                   - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n              Dated this the 17th day of August, 2010.\n\n                                 JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner retired from the service of the Kerala State Road<\/p>\n<p>Transport Corporation. He was a last grade servant in the Trivandrum<\/p>\n<p>Central Depot of the Corporation. The main prayer in the writ petition is to<\/p>\n<p>disburse the DCRG and Commuted Value of Pension to the petitioner.<\/p>\n<p>      2. It is pointed out that the petitioner and his wife had jointly availed<\/p>\n<p>a housing loan of Rs.2.35 lakhs from the Kannanmoola Branch of the State<\/p>\n<p>Bank of India. He is unable to meet the payment of instalments as he has<\/p>\n<p>retired from service and the Branch Manager of the said branch has issued<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P2 notice demanding an amount of Rs.1,52,040.53. The petitioner is<\/p>\n<p>having another liability to the tune of Rs.75,000\/- which was availed as a<\/p>\n<p>loan from the Kerala State Transport Workers&#8217; co-operative Society, the<\/p>\n<p>repayment of which is in default. Ext.P3 is the notice demanding payment<\/p>\n<p>of an amount of Rs.35,027\/-. It is also pointed out that the two sons of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner are studying for professional courses and to meet the expenses<\/p>\n<p>for the same also, the disbursement of the retiral benefits is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>      3. The disbursement of DCRG and Commuted Value of Pension is<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">wpc 25851\/2010                        2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>governed by the directions issued by this Court in W.A. No.289\/2001,<\/p>\n<p>wherein it is specified that it will be disbursed strictly in accordance with<\/p>\n<p>the seniority unless otherwise ordered by this Court.<\/p>\n<p>      4. As the reason stated appears to be genuine, there will be a<\/p>\n<p>direction to the respondents to make due enquiries in the matter and<\/p>\n<p>disburse the DCRG and Commuted Value of Pension to the petitioner after<\/p>\n<p>sanctioning the same, within a period of two months from the date of receipt<\/p>\n<p>of a copy of this judgment.\n<\/p>\n<p>      The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.<\/p>\n<p>                                     (T.R.
