No. 24543 OF 2009\n\n        = = = = = = = = = = = = = == = = = = = = =\n\n            Dated this the 22nd day of October 2009.\n\n\n                            O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The writ petitioner has filed this review petition contending<\/p>\n<p>that the judgment proceeded on the premise that the Board has<\/p>\n<p>deposited the gratuity amount due to each one of the petitioners<\/p>\n<p>before the competent authority and it is therefore that directions<\/p>\n<p>have been issued to the competent authority to disburse the<\/p>\n<p>amount so deposited. It is contended that in certain cases, the<\/p>\n<p>amount has not been deposited so far.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. I heard learned Standing Counsel for the Board also in<\/p>\n<p>this regard. Learned Counsel submits that the amounts have<\/p>\n<p>been deposited in the case of the petitioners except petitioners<\/p>\n<p>3 and 43.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3. The Board shall see that if in the case of any among the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners, gratuity as directed by the competent authority is yet<\/p>\n<p>to be deposited before the District Labour Officer or Regional<\/p>\n<p>Joint Labour Commissioner as a case may be, the same shall be<\/p>\n<p>deposited within one month from the date of production of a<\/p>\n<p>R.P. No. 929 OF 2009 IN W.P.(C). No. 24543 OF 2009<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                  2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>copy of this order in the review petition along with an<\/p>\n<p>undertaking by the concerned applicant that the order passed by<\/p>\n<p>the competent authority under the Payment of Gratuity Act in his<\/p>\n<p>case has become final.
