RAVIKUMAR, J.\n                    --------------------------------------------\n                        W.P.(C) NO. 2075 OF 2010\n                    --------------------------------------------\n                   Dated this the 4th day of February, 2010\n\n\n                                 JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner, who is working as Upper Division Clerk in the<\/p>\n<p>District Police Office, Pathanamthitta, was included in Ext.P2 rank list for<\/p>\n<p>appointment to the post of Finger Print Searcher. On account of the steps<\/p>\n<p>taken by the Kerala Public Service Commission in conducting recruitment<\/p>\n<p>to 13 vacancies of Finger Print Searchers, the petitioner apprehends that he<\/p>\n<p>would not be appointed from Ext.P2 rank list.           Hence, he has filed this<\/p>\n<p>Writ Petition.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. When the matter came up for admission, the learned Government<\/p>\n<p>Pleader, on instruction, submitted that subsequent to his inclusion in<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P2 rank list, the petitioner has been appointed as Finger Print Searcher.<\/p>\n<p>The above submission is recorded. In view of the said submission, there<\/p>\n<p>is no need to pursue the Writ Petition.<\/p>\n<p>      The Writ Petition is, therefore, closed.<\/p>\n<p>                                    (C.T.
