Justice V.RAMKUMAR\n\n Dated :14\/06\/2010\n\n O R D E R\n                       V.RAMKUMAR, J.\n                  -----------------------------------\n                 W.P.(C).No.18094 of 2010\n                 ------------------------------------\n            Dated this the 14th day of June, 2010\n\n                           JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner who is the first accused in C.C.No.294 of<\/p>\n<p>2002 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of the First Class, Ranni<\/p>\n<p>for an offence punishable under Section 420 I.P.C., seeks a<\/p>\n<p>direction to the Magistrate to grant personal exemption to the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner during the trial of the case and also seeks a<\/p>\n<p>direction to the Passport Officer, Regional Passport Office,<\/p>\n<p>Kaithamukku, Thiruvananthapuram to renew Ext.P2 passport<\/p>\n<p>of the petitioner.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.   Petitioner claims to be the Vice President of Chittar<\/p>\n<p>Grama Panchayat. If a question of identity does not arise for<\/p>\n<p>consideration during the trial of the case the petitioner shall<\/p>\n<p>be exempted from personal appearance during the trial of<\/p>\n<p>C.C.No.294\/2002 on his filing an appropriate petition<\/p>\n<p>incorporating necessary averments.
