Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :08\/01\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                        ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n\n                 = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n                 = =W.P.(C)= = = = = = = = = = =\n                             No. 875 OF 2008 D\n                     = = =\n\n                  Dated this the 8th January, 2008\n\n                           J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      A country boat belonging to the petitioner has been seized on<\/p>\n<p>the   allegation  that   it  was    involved   in  the    unauthorized<\/p>\n<p>transportation of river sand. The records disclose that final orders<\/p>\n<p>have not been passed by the 1st respondent in terms of Rule 27 of<\/p>\n<p>the Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of<\/p>\n<p>Sand Rules, 2002 and at this stage, therefore, I do not think it<\/p>\n<p>proper to direct release of the country boat pending such<\/p>\n<p>adjudication. In view of this, I dispose of this writ petition directing<\/p>\n<p>that the 1st respondent shall pass final orders in terms of Rule 27 of<\/p>\n<p>the Rules, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within 10 days of<\/p>\n<p>production of a copy of this judgment.
