Pleader\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tThis writ petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct<br \/>\nthe respondents to open the fishery rights tender applications called for the<br \/>\nyears 2010 &#8211; 2013, in Madurai District, in the presence of the Commissioner<br \/>\nappointed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. It has been stated that the petitioner is one of the participants in<br \/>\nthe tender for fishery rights for 31 tanks in Madurai District. The last date<br \/>\nfor submitting the filled tenders was 13.10.2010. The petitioner has filed the<br \/>\npresent writ petition, on the apprehension that tenders had been received by the<br \/>\nrespondents, after the last date for receiving the said tenders i.e. on<br \/>\n13.10.2010. The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition before this<br \/>\nCourt, praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to open the<br \/>\ntenders in the presence of the Commissioner appointed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the<br \/>\nwrit petition and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsels<br \/>\nappearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the respondents, this Court<br \/>\ndoes not find sufficient cause or reason to grant the relief, as prayed for by<br \/>\nthe petitioner, in the present writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is<br \/>\ndismissed. However, it would be open to the petitioner, to challenge the final<br \/>\nresult, if he is aggrieved by the same, before the appropriate authority or<br \/>\nforum, in the manner known to law.
