MUKHOPADHAYA)<\/p>\n<p>\tNotice<br \/>\non respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tMs.\n<\/p>\n<p>Dharmishta Rawal, learned advocate accepts and waives notice for<br \/>\nrespondent No.22, Gujarat Pollution Control Board. Learned GP will<br \/>\nserve a copy of the petitioner on the learned advocate latest by 5th<br \/>\nSeptember 2011.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tTaking<br \/>\ninto consideration the guidelines issued by Central Pollution Control<br \/>\nBoard, New Delhi in June 2010 relating to idol immersion, we direct<br \/>\nthat from 4th September 2011, backed clay or Plaster of<br \/>\nParis shall not be used by any person to make idols without the<br \/>\npermission of this Court.  However, it is made clear that this<br \/>\ninterim order will not be applicable to sale or purchase or immersion<br \/>\nof idols which have already been made of backed clay or Plaster of<br \/>\nParis. The District Administration, Surat or Commissioner of Police,<br \/>\nSurat will also not take any coercive steps against any person on the<br \/>\nground of purchase, sale or immersion of idols made of backed clay or<br \/>\nPlaster of Paris.
